Rita Drew

Rita comes to Foster Hub with more than 20 years experience as a finance professional in the non-profit, public, and private sectors. She attended the University of Hartford (CT) and earned her BS in Business Management and MBA in Business Management and International Business from the University of Akron. She brings a wide-ranging financial background, knowledge of grant writing and acceptance, as well as operational knowledge of non-profit organizations.

The owner of several businesses in Northeast Ohio since 2002, she is also the Deputy Finance Director for the City of University Heights and was previously elected as the Fiscal Officer for Bazetta Township. From 1986 to 2014, she served LEIMUN, an educational non-profit based in Northeast Ohio, in numerous roles including Secretary-General, Trustee, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer. She also served Cortland Area Cares, her local food pantry, as Secretary/Treasurer. She also volunteers one of her businesses each year as a distribution hub for Toys-4-Tots. Earning multiple awards and certifications through the years in Northeast Ohio, Rita has solidified her seat at the table as an expert and leader in the finance arena.
