Michelle Mays

Michelle Mays is the CEO and founder of FosterHub. Michelle’s personal experiences as a former foster child inspired her to create this organization, which aims to ensure that no other child has to face the struggles she did.

In addition to her work with FosterHub, Michelle is also a published author. She has written a three-part book series called Dumpster Doll, which chronicles her life in foster care before, during, and after her time in the system. The series has been added to the CASA National reading list, guiding CASA members to better connect with the foster children they support. Michelle is also a devoted family person, being a wife and mother. Her experiences as a parent have only reinforced her commitment to improving the lives of foster children. She has poured her heart and soul into FosterHub, ensuring that it provides a safe and supportive community for kids who might otherwise be left to navigate the challenges of aging out of foster care on their own.
