Scott Mays brings disciplined leadership, strategic insight, and unwavering commitment to his role on the FosterHub Board of Directors. Born and raised in Maryland, he has proudly called Ohio home since 1985, building a life grounded in service, family, and community.

A 10 year military veteran, Scott’s service instilled in him a strong work ethic, integrity, accountability, and a detail oriented mindset that continues to shape his leadership style. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Urbana University and an MBA in Project Management from Strayer University.

Throughout his professional career, Scott has led complex initiatives, strengthened operational systems, and guided data informed decision making. His expertise in risk management, performance optimization, and strategic planning directly supports FosterHub’s mission by ensuring the organization operates with sustainability, compliance, and measurable impact. He brings a sharp analytical lens to board governance, helping steward resources responsibly while keeping long term growth in focus.

As the husband of Founder and CEO Michelle Mays, Scott has been part of FosterHub since its inception. He understands the mission not only as a board member but as a witness to the lived experience that sparked it. His perspective bridges heart and structure, pairing passion for emancipated foster youth with the practical oversight necessary to strengthen systems that support them.
